Obama cheers capture of top Kony commander
Air Jordan Retro Shoes On SaleThe White House on Monday hailed the capture of one of African warlord Joseph Kony's top commanders, amid hopes that the arrest could be a big step on the road to catching the infamous Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) leader himself.
"The capture of Major General Ceasar Acellam is a testament to the resolve of Uganda and its military forces to work with regional forces to end the threat posed by the LRA," President Barack Obama's chief spokesman, Jay Carney, said in a statement.www.shoesjordansforcheap.com
Last year, Obama ordered 100 elite American troops to help a multinational force capture Kony, whose global notoriety exploded earlier this year with the mega-viral video "Kony 2012.""Ugandan and other regional forces continue to pursue the LRA and keep its leadership on the run," Carney said. "The United States joins regional governments and the African Union in calling on abductees and remaining members of the LRA to depart the ranks of the LRA and peacefully surrender. Support is available to help those who defect and peacefully surrender to return to their home communities and build a new life."
The Associated Press reported earlier that Acellam was caught Saturday after a brief firefight near the Congo-Central African Republic border.new air jordan fusion shoes
"While the capture of Acellam is an important step forward, the LRA continues to pose a deadly threat to civilians," Carney said. "The United States is committed to supporting the people and governments of the region in their collective efforts, in coordination with the African Union and United Nations, to protect civilians and end this threat."

Kings beat Coyotes to win NHL series opener
New Jordans 2012 For SaleDustin Brown scored the game winner in the third period to lift the Los Angeles Kings to a 4-2 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes in the opening game of their Western Conference playoff series.
Rookie forward Dwight King, with two goals, and all-star Anze Kopitar also scored for the eighth seeded Kings, who reached the Western Conference championship series by eliminating the top two seeds, Vancouver and St. Louis.Womens Nike Air Shoes
Kopitar said they came out with plenty of spark Sunday despite the long layoff after sweeping the Blues in four straight games.www.shoesjordans23.com
"We had a lot of rest the last six days and so we wanted to come out and make sure we pushed the pace," said Kopitar, who has seven points in the last six games. "We scored the first goal and it is a lot easier when you score first."
Mikkel Boedker and defenceman Derek Morris each scored for third seeded Phoenix, who are in the conference finals for first time in franchise history.
Captain Brown took a long pass up the middle from defenceman Slava Voynov and beat Phoenix goalie Mike Smith with a high snap shot.Kids Jordan Shoes sale
Brown has been one of the Kings best offensive weapons in the playoffs and is leading the team in goals with seven.
Jonathan Quick was solid in net for the Kings finishing with 21 saves. Quick, who is in the running for the Vezina Trophy as the league's top goaltender, was superb in the third period when they needed him the most and is now 9-1 in the post-season.

King of Kings scores twice as LA beat Phoenix
Air Jordan Retro 13 Kids' Basketball Shoes(Reuters) - The Los Angeles Kings produced more Stanley Cup playoffs magic on Sunday with a 4-2 win over the Phoenix Coyotes in their Western Conference Finals opener.
Dustin Brown and Dwight King scored third-period goals to clinch the Game One victory, with the second game of the best-of-seven series set for Tuesday, again in Phoenix.
The win continued a fairytale post-season run for the West's eighth seeds, who have won nine of 10 playoff games to eliminate top seeds Vancouver in the opening round then swept the second-seeded St. Louis Blues in the second.Fusion Shoes Jordan Sale

Unbeaten on the road during the playoffs, the Kings spoiled the NHL-owned Coyotes' first appearance in a conference finals.
Phoenix netminder Mike Smith kept the home team in the game in the first period where they were outshot 17-4 by the Kings but went into the intermission tied at 1-1.
However, he could not withstand the relentless Los Angeles barrage and surrendered two more goals. The Kings finished with a total of 47 shots.
"We knew coming in, you watch Phoenix play, they got a really good goaltender," said Brown. "Part of our thing is getting as many shots on him as we can, make him work, make it hard for him."

King restored Los Angeles' lead midway through the second only to have Mikkel Boedker answer for Phoenix to send the teams into the second intermission deadlocked at 2-2.

Del Piero on target as Juve finish unbeaten
Nike Air Jordan 6MILAN (Reuters) - Alessandro Del Piero, almost certainly playing his last home game for Juventus at the age of 37, celebrated with a goal as the Serie A champions beat Atalanta 3-1 on Sunday to finish their campaign unbeaten.
Udinese clinched a place in the playoff round of next season's Champions League qualifying tournament by winning 2-0 at Catania to finish third, leaving Lazio, Napoli and Inter Milan to contemplate the Europa League.
Antonio Di Natale, included in Italy's provisional squad for Euro 2012, opened the scoring for Udinese with his 23rd league goal of the season.
The 38-year-old Filippo Inzaghi, playing his last league game for runners-up AC Milan after 11 seasons, scored the winner in a 2-1 victory over relegated Novara.Womens Nike Air Shoes
Juventus became only the second team to win Serie A without losing a game after Fabio Capello's AC Milan in 1991-92 and the first to achieve the feat in a 38-match season.
Del Piero curled the ball in from the edge of the penalty area in the 28th minute after Luca Marrone had fired the opener for Juve who clinched the title last week.
An own goal by Stephan Lichtsteiner put a slight dampener on Juve's celebrations in the 83rd minute before defender Andrea Barzagli converted a stoppage-time penalty.
Barzagli had come on just one minute earlier following an injury to Giorgio Chiellini and became the 20th Juventus player to score a league goal this season.
"We've had a fantastic championship season, crowning it with the Scudetto and a record which will go down in history," said Juventus coach Antonio Conte. "Others can only try and equal our feat."
Club president Andrea Agnelli said last year that Del Piero's contract would not be renewed when it expires at the end of the season and seems unlikely to backtrack.
Del Piero, used sparingly by coach Antonio Conte, could still feature in one more match for Juventus when they play Napoli in the Italian Cup final on May 20.Shoes Jordan Fusions Sale
"We all felt emotional. Alex is a great champion and will be forever remembered as an indelible part of Juve's history," added Conte. "I'm moved for him and honouring everything with the Scudetto is extraordinary."
    GATTUSO'S TEARSnew jordan shoes
Milan, where midfielder Gennaro Gattuso and defender Alessandro Nesta were also playing their last home games after announcing they would leave the club, fell behind to a Santiago Garcia goal in the 20th minute.
Midfielder Mathieu Flamini equalised in the 56th minute before Inzaghi, who came on midway through the second half, grabbed the winner in the 82nd minute, firing in a half-volley from Clarence Seedorf's pass.
Tough-tackling Gattuso left the San Siro pitch in tears as he ended 13 seasons at the club.
Juventus finished with 84 points, four ahead of Milan, with the two teams taking Italy's places in the group stage of the Champions League next season.
Udinese, who had needed a draw to clinch third place, left nothing to chance with a win in Sicily.
Antonio Di Natale and Diego Fabbrini scored in each half for Udinese, who lost to Arsenal over two legs in last season's Champions League playoff round, while Alejandro Gomez missed a penalty for Catania before halftime.
Italy has lost a place in the competition after Serie A slipped below Germany's Bundesliga in UEFA's ranking of national leagues.
Lazio took fourth place despite going behind to Inter when Diego Milito scored from a penalty, the Argentine's 24th Serie A goal of the season, on the stroke of halftime.
Libor Kozak headed Lazio level in the 58th minute and Senad Lulic tricked his way past Maicon on the left and pulled the ball back for Antonio Candreva to score from the edge of the penalty area.
Stefano Mauri added the third in stoppage time to hand Inter their second defeat in nine matches under Andrea Stramaccioni, their third coach of the season after Gian Piero Gasperini and Claudio Ranieri.
Andrea Dossena scored both goals as Napoli finished fifth with a 2-1 win over Siena while Inter scraped into the Europa League qualifying competition in sixth.jordan shoes for sale
Luis Enrique, who announced on Friday that he would be quitting AS Roma at the end of the season, bowed out with a 3-2 win at relegated Cesena.
Daniele De Rossi scored the goal that turned out to be the winner early in the second half.
Parma beat Bologna 1-0 for a club record seventh successive win to finish with 56 points.
Lecce joined already relegated Novara and Cesena in Serie B next season after losing 1-0 at Chievo.

Univision launches digital network for all content
Kids Jordan ShoesNEW YORK (AP) — The Spanish-language Univision this summer is launching a digital network that will enable viewers to tap into its programming on computers, smartphones and tablets.
The new service is called the UVideos Digital Network, the company said Friday. It will have special content and social media links designed to encourage people to use handheld computers while they're watching television, called second-screen viewing.www.buy-retrojordans.com
The Univision broadcast network, by far the most popular among the Spanish-speaking audience in the United States, will premiere two new telenovelas next year. One is a comedy involving a macho man forced to dress as a woman occasionally to win the heart of the woman he loves. The other is a love story about a man who is unjustly accused and wants to clear his name and who falls in love with a veterinarian whose fiance was killed.cheap jordan for sale
Telenovelas, prime-time soap operas that run five nights a week, are the bread and butter of Univision's programming. Much of it comes through its exclusive U.S. distribution deal with Televisa, the Mexican production company. Two-thirds of Univision's audience is of Mexican descent.
Televisa and Univision this fall will begin making the network's first Internet-only novela, Univision said. Mexican movie star Kate del Castillo, who has appeared on CBS's "CSI: Miami," also is making two Web novelas for Univision.
Largely because of telenovelas, 94 percent of Univision viewers watch the programming live, said Randy Falco, Univision Communications Inc.'s president and CEO. At English-speaking networks, DVR and video on demand usage has reduced live viewing to 85 percent and falling, the Nielsen ratings company says. Advertisers prefer live viewing because their commercials can't be skipped.Jordan Fusion for sale
Besides the Univision network, Univision Communications owns the broadcast network Telefutura and the cable network Galavision and an expanding collection of Internet-only channels.
"If marketers want to tap into the growth that the Hispanic community offers," Falco said, "they have to come to us."

Detroit orchestra hopes Kid Rock show raises $1M
Jordan 8 Fusion on SaleDETROIT (AP) — This time last year, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra was about a month removed from a contentious musicians' strike that worsened its already strained finances. Now, the rebounding organization aims to raise the roof — and hopefully $1 million — with help from a hometown musician known more for rock, rap and country than classical.
The orchestra will collaborate with Kid Rock on Saturday in a benefit concert at the Fox Theatre, down the street from the ensemble's Orchestra Hall home. Tickets start at $100, though VIP tickets fetch as much as $1,500 and include an after-party with the genre-jumping artist who still lives in suburban Detroit.
Kid Rock, who was born Robert Ritchie and grew up in Macomb County, Mich., is volunteering his services. So are Detroit Symphony Music Director Leonard Slatkin and orchestra members. Proceeds will help pay symphony musicians for community outreach and education efforts.
"As a musician, and of course a Detroiter, I am proud to be supporting this longstanding cultural institution," Kid Rock has said of his show with the orchestra. A spokesman for the musician declined to make him available to comment for this story.www.buy-jordansretro.com
One night — even one that rocks and rolls in big money — doesn't erase bigger, long-term woes for the internationally recognized orchestra. Musicians agreed to major concessions during the six-month strike that ended in April of last year, but that's only slowed the orchestra's $2.5 million-to-$3 million annual drain of a roughly $14 million endowment that it draws from to survive. And officials have been mired in a so-far unsuccessful effort to restructure a $54 million bank loan on a real estate deal for the Max M. Fisher Music Center.Save on Nike Women's Jordan Shoes
The lingering debt came before the labor strife but it's "certainly become more acute after the strike and we returned to concerts," said Paul Hogle, the orchestra's executive vice president. Hogle said as long as the money is owed, the orchestra cannot increase its endowment.
Still, in the short-term, "we're performing, broadcasting, we're being an orchestra," he said.
"We still have an enormous amount of work to do," Hogle said. "But the business of performing and attracting talent here is in fact returning and vibrant."Shopping Results for Nike Air Jordan 1
He cited the hiring of seven musicians, including incoming concertmaster Yoonshin Song. The orchestra announced this week that the 30-year-old member of the Saint Paul Chamber Ensemble would permanently replace Emmanuelle Boisvert, who left after the strike to become associate concertmaster with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.Kid Jordan Shoes For Sale
Several of the recent departures can be traced to the contentious walkout or settlement that left musicians with a roughly 25 percent cut to their salaries. Hogle said the hiring process is restoring the faith across the organization.Fusion Shoes Jordan Sale
"As a result of the auditions we've already had this year, it certainly suggests that Detroit and the music-making legacy here continues to be attractive for candidates," he said. "That bodes very well for our future."
Hogle said he's also excited that more than 100,000 people have tuned in to the orchestra's webcasts this past season. Much closer to home, the orchestra has inaugurated concerts in a half-dozen Detroit-area neighborhoods — drawing a suburban audience largely composed of audience members who haven't attended a performance in Detroit.
Drew McManus, a Chicago-based orchestra management consultant, said he's glad to see some good signs after so much strife, but he lacks enough information to conclude the Detroit orchestra is succeeding in its turnaround plan.
"Is the organization going to be able to stabilize and look at a new growth pattern? All that hasn't transpired in the year since the (strike) ended," McManus said.
He said the upcoming concert featuring Kid Rock backed by the orchestra is "a good thing" and could be a successful one-time event. McManus would like to see it inspire a series of rock-flavored shows, using the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra's successful Rockin' Orchestra Series as a model.
"It's far more beneficial for an organization if they can develop that into a series," he said. "It's a really smart financial move: It shores up their bottom line and supports the core mission activity."
Hogle sees the collaboration with Kid Rock as recognition of how far the orchestra has come, and a fitting example of where it can go.
"It's the perfect culmination of what we will look back on as a very successful year," he said "A year ago, our stage was silent. And today our hall is regularly full. We have an increase in donations. And, we're performing with Kid Rock."

2 women battle over Gary Coleman estate
Jordan Shoes For SalePROVO, Utah (AP) — Gary Coleman's ex-wife wants a judge to award her the child TV star's estate.
Shannon Price testified Monday in 4th District Court that even though the two divorced in 2008, they kept living together and presented themselves to the public as married until his death May 28, 2010.
The "Diff'rent Strokes" actor was taken off life support after suffering a head injury in a fall at his home, according to a copy of his death certificate in court records. He was 42.
Another woman, Anna Gray, says Coleman named her a beneficiary and executor of his estate in 2005. Gray managed Coleman's affairs for a number of years and was his ex-girlfriend.
The trial started Monday and was to continue Tuesday.www.shoesjordansforcheap.com
Gray, representing herself, asked Price why she took her name off the deed to the couple's house in Santaquin, Utah.
"It was y'all's home and y'all made the payments, but you thought that Gary should be liable for it?" Gray asked.
Price, 26, said she had to take her name off the deed as a condition of divorce.
Price said she met Colemen on the Utah set of the movie "Church Ball" in 2005. A marriage license says they wed Aug. 28, 2007, at Nevada's Valley of Fire State Park. They divorced less than a year later under a sealed court order.
It's not clear how much Coleman's estate is worth, but court papers mention a $324,000 house and a pension, among other possible assets. Price said they shared bank accounts, and her lawyers say Gary Coleman listed Price as his wife for Social Security benefits as late as 2010.
Coleman's parents, Willie and Edmonia Coleman, have asserted no claim on his estate, court papers say.
Price's lawyer, Mitchell Maughan, said the case is more about future rights to Coleman's name and brand than assets.
"He was not a zillionaire," Maughan said.Jordan Shoes
Price said her relationship with Gary Coleman had ups and downs, but "we couldn't be without each other" even after divorce.
Neighbor Audra Wright however, testified that the marriage was far from perfect, the couple's house was a mess, and the two kept separate bedrooms.
Wright said Price frequently complained about fights and financial problems.
Once, Price asked, "'Did you ever see a black guy with a black eye?'" Wright testified. "She called Gary over and said 'Show her your black eye.'"
Instead of holding hands, Price would grab Coleman by the wrist and pull him along.
"I think that made him look like a child," Wright said.

AP Photos: Met Gala red carpet

"Well I think there's something unique about these particular steps. Nothing more terrifying than these particular steps," she said Monday night, escorted by Valentino. "But I think there's a focus that's different than a movie premiere. It's about celebrating discipline and skill and celebrating this important museum."
Her gown was, of course, Valentino: a long-sleeve, high-neck metallic floral gown worn with a belt.

Police beat reporters during Vietnam land eviction
Nike Air Jordan Shoes ShopHANOI, Vietnam (AP) — Police and security guards beat two Vietnamese state radio reporters who were watching them evict farmers from their land to make way for a massive privately built housing project, state-controlled media reported Tuesday.
A video earlier posted on YouTube showed police and guards beating and kicking two helmeted men during the high-profile eviction last month. The Thanh Nien newspaper reported Tuesday that the men were Nguyen Ngoc Nam, chief of political and economic news at the Radio Voice of Vietnam, and staff reporter Han Phi Long.
It said Nam was handcuffed and taken to a district prosecutor's office while Long went to local police to report the beating.Cheap Jordan Shoes
The two reporters and the national radio station have asked the provincial government for an explanation, but it has yet to respond, the newspaper said.
The reporters and provincial officials were not available for comment Tuesday.
Land rights cases have attracted increased attention in recent years as farmers have been pushed off their land to make way for projects ranging from industrial parks to luxury golf courses.
In the April 24 eviction in Hung Yen province near Hanoi, about 3,000 police and militiamen, many in full riot gear, overpowered more than 1,000 villagers, witnesses say. Authorities detained 20 villagers, and five remain in custody.
A total of 166 families were evicted from 5.8 hectares (14 acres) of land, part of 72.6 hectares (180 acres) allocated for the second phase of the housing project.Retro Jordan Shoes
Viet Hung Co. Ltd., a private company, was awarded a contract in 2004 to develop an "Ecopark" satellite city covering 500 hectares (1,235 acres) in three villages. More than 4,000 families are to lose their farmland.
The farmers have protested periodically in Hanoi, demanding higher compensation for their land or the cancellation of the project.Nike Air Jordan Shoes
State media quoted Nguyen Khac Hao, vice governor of the province, as telling a high-level government conference last week that the provincial government has handled the case properly and accusing anti-government activists of describing the incident in a bad light.
"There was a close coordination between the hostile elements from both inside and outside the country ... fake video clips were created to slander and smear the government," the Nong Nghiep newspaper quoted Hao as telling the conference.

cheap air jordansBOSTON (Reuters) - Facebook Inc's initial public offering pitch played to some bad reviews in New York, so for its Boston audience on Tuesday, the 30-minute video was scrapped and the company took more questions from analysts and potential investors.
Facebook Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg did not attend the breakfast pitch at the Four Seasons hotel in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood. The men were behind bars in the courtroom. Officials said these were the first such civil court proceedings since the end of last year's war. "This is the first trial (of suspected Gaddafi supporters)," Mohammed said.

It has been keen to try Gaddafi's family members and supporters at home, including Gaddafi's son Saif al-Islam who was captured in November and is currently being held in the western mountain town of Zintan.
Human rights groups question whether its justice system can meet the standards of international law.
In February, a group of Libyans accused of fighting for Gaddafi went on trial before a military court in the eastern city of Benghazi. The court later ruled they should be tried instead in a civilian court.

Magic! Harry Potter studio tour opens near London
Jordan Shoes For SaleWATFORD, England (AP) — Hogwarts Castle is ready to welcome the Muggle multitudes.
Here, on a film studio sound stage near London, stands the real Hogwarts — or at least a monumental model of the fictional wizarding school, the very one used in the eight "Harry Potter" movies.
The minutely detailed castle now forms the climax of "The Making of Harry Potter," a behind-the-scenes studio tour based at the Warner Bros.' facility where the films were made between 2000 and 2010.
It may only be a model, but for Potter fans it's already a place of pilgrimage.
"I had to literally stand there for 10 minutes and just absorb it," said Cee Anatole, who works for a fan website and had a preview ahead of Saturday's grand opening. "The attention to detail — it was just amazing."
Warner Bros. hopes the general public will be equally enthusiastic. The studio expects 5,000 people a day to visit the attraction, which is selling itself on its authenticity — it features real sets, models, props and costumes from the films, on the original studio site.
The first, and most spectacular, set visitors encounter is the Great Hall of Hogwarts school, complete with stone floor, Gothic arches, gargoyles and huge fireplace. Later come the dormitory where the young wizard slept, the office of headmaster Albus Dumbledore, the giant Hagrid's Hut and Diagon Alley, the magical shopping street that's home to Ollivander's wand shop and Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.
The tour is an almost overwhelming feast of detail. Displays range from Mrs. Weasley's self-knitting sweater to boxes of Cheery Owls cereal, potions bottles filled with plastic newts and real animal bones and 17,000 individually painted wand boxes.
It's nirvana for Potter fans — and for film geeks, who can watch designers talk about their work in short films, ride a broomstick in the green-screen effects room and see how makeup, prosthetics and animatronics brought hundreds of magical creatures to life.Jordan Shoes
The goal is to pay tribute to the hundreds of unsung technicians and craftspeople who reinvented author J.K. Rowling's magical universe for the big screen.
"There's so much work that you couldn't see, so much work that just became part of the film," said David Heyman, a producer on all the Potter films.
"This is a tour for Harry Potter fans, but it's also a tour for people who are not necessarily Harry Potter fans," he said. "It's such a good insight into the making of a film ... basically a how-to."
Warner Bros. is clearly proud of its new attraction. One of the creators' few regrets is that trains to Watford, which will carry many of the site's visitors, leave from London's Euston station, rather than nearby King's Cross, whose imaginary platform 9 3/4 was the terminus of the Hogwarts Express. Rearranging the railways is beyond even Harry Potter's powers.
The attraction is part of Warner Bros.' 100 million pound ($160 million) redevelopment of Leavesden Studios, a former World War II airdrome 20 miles (30 kilometers) northwest of London, into Europe's largest filmmaking complex.
In addition to the tour, the working studio due to open later this year will have sound stages, workshops, offices and the biggest backlot in Europe, and make Warner Bros.' the only U.S. studio with a permanent base in Britain.
Those who worked on the film say the transformation is remarkable.www.shoesjordansforcheap.com
"What is different and strange is that the roof is not leaking," said David Yates, who directed the final four Potter films. "And it's not dusty, it's not drafty and it's not cold. We literally were working in big sheds."
Warner Bros. is not estimating the lifespan of the attraction, which employs about 300 people, including a horde of Potter fans working as enthusiastic tour guides. But it says Pottermania shows no signs of waning.
Initial reviews have been largely positive, though some have questioned the admission price — 28 pounds ($45) for adults and 21 pounds ($34) for children five and over. Children under 5 go free. Warner Bros. says the charges are "in line with other major attractions in the U.K. and around the world."
The attraction has already won over an important group of fans: the cast.
"I found it quite moving, actually, coming back," said Rupert Grint, who played Harry's best friend, Ron Weasley. "I sometimes had to remind myself that we weren't doing a scene, because it's so authentic.
"This is a special place for me. I basically grew up here, went to school here. It's just nice to be able to share it with everyone."

What Ron Paul and Mega Millions Teach Us About the Federal Budget
retro jordans for cheapCOMMENTARY | I started off my day with a $1 purchase of a Mega Millions multi-state lottery ticket and reading news of the House passing a 2013 budget.
Living in one of the states where tickets are sold, the jackpot buzz is all around. People are understandably amazed by the $640 million top prize that is being offered. For most, it is more money than imaginable -- and maybe that is part of the problem with our federal budget in America: a lack of imagination by voters.
To understand why we can no longer afford to spend at such high rates,Air Jordan Retro Shoes For Cheap one must first understand how much the federal budget really is -- and the Mega Millions jackpot serves as a timely example. The House approved budget for fiscal year 2013 is approximately $3.6 trillion. Most people reading the budget total in the news will feel less shell-shocked than reading of the lottery jackpot growing to $640 million. Setting aside the personal connection people feel to a lottery jackpot -- the dreams and hopeful plans of a pampered future -- understanding the tangible difference between $640 million and $3.6 trillion is a point lost on most people.
If you won the multi-state Mega Millions' $640 million jackpot each and every drawing, held twice a week (falsely assuming the jackpot could be $640 million every time for argument sake), it would still take you over 54 years of constant winning to pay for the proposed 2013 U.S. federal budget which will likely fail in the U.S. Senate for being too lean, according to the Associated Press.www.jordansretroforsale.com
Ron Paul, the Texas congressman running for president, has long championed the need to immediately reduce spending within the federal budget. Although Paul's proposed cuts are aggressive, they are necessary to fiscally save this country from overspending. While the other candidates use the campaign catch phase of "cutting spending" akin to nothing more than a line from a movie, Paul lays out a detailed plan of what he would cut and by how much -- including what few things he would increase, like Medicare and Social Security spending.Retro Jordans
As voters head to the ballot boxes in 2012, hopefully they cast their votes in admittance that we can no longer ignore our massively wasteful budget -- since the cost of not doing so could certainly end with economic ruin. As a nation we must begin to understand that "trillion" is a real number with real economic consequences, and not just a name synonymous with "a lot of money."

OLRTXT DBT GR EZC LIF AID EMU EU HUMA POL
Nike Air Jordan Shoes ShopPERAMA, Greece (Reuters) - A "humanitarian crisis" is unfolding in an impoverished Greek city where a deepening economic crisis has left thousands seeking food from an international charity more used to helping refugees and bringing aid to famine or disaster zones.
Once home to a thriving shipbuilding industry, the port city of Perama near Athens has seen its fortunes wane over the years as buyers abandoned it for cheaper options outside Greece.
The country's financial crisis is the latest blow - pushing up unemployment in the area to 60 percent, triple the national average.
Without health insurance or money for fees at state facilities, many of the town's 25,000 residents have begun flocking to a free clinic set up by Doctors of the World seeking medical care and, lately, staples like milk and bread.Cheap Jordan Shoes
The clinic was set up two years ago to treat poor immigrants. Instead, it now finds that 80 percent of its patients are Greeks struggling to get by. Doctors say many of them cannot even afford the bus fare to the local hospital.Nike Air Jordan Shoes
"We tell a lot of people that come here: 'Your child needs to go the hospital, we can't treat the problem here,' and they tell us: 'I don't have the 1.40 euros to take the bus and go to the hospital,'" said Liana Maili, a paediatrician at the clinic.
A large chunk of the town's residents live on less than 200 euros ($270) a month, the agency says.
"There are some families that have not had electricity for five, eight months, who spent the winter burning pieces of wood to keep warm and whose children eat from the garbage."
Lately, the clinic has been overwhelmed with vaccination requests for Greek children whose parents cannot afford booster shots - something the agency has only ever seen in the developing world, said Nikitas Kanakis, head of the agency's Greek arm.
"We will need the help of other organizations as we are in a humanitarian crisis," he said.
    FOOD PARCELS
Greece is struggling through a debilitating debt crisis that has forced it to accept financial aid to keep afloat. The aid comes at the price of painful wage and spending cuts that have helped push the country into its fifth year of recession.
Most Greeks have felt the pain of salary and pension cuts and higher taxes, with towns like Perama showing the extremes of a crisis that social workers say has punished the weakest sections of society.
In the clinic's small waiting room, patients outnumber the available seats as they wait to be seen by a doctor or pick up a free meal box of beans, olive oil, pasta and condensed milk.
Unable to find a steady job for five years, Antonis Giatras relies on the clinic to feed his family of five. He recalls once being forced to live in his car and in a cemetery for months when he was homeless with a pregnant wife.Retro Jordan Shoes
"There are some days when we have no bread, or food," said the 50-year-old Giatras. "My young daughter who goes to school is forced to go some days without taking any food with her."
In a one-room shack with a ceiling damaged by water and held together with bits of rope and wood, 36-year-old Spiridoula Firlemi lives in fear her electricity will be cut off because she cannot pay back power bills of 1,250 euros.
"They'll cut it off. We'll see, maybe I'll get electricity from a neighbor," said Firlemi, who has a 45-day-old baby.
    "I can't leave the baby in the cold." ($1 = 0.7509 euros)

Museum plays April Fools' joke on prolific forger
cheap air jordansCINCINNATI (AP) — Fool me once, the saying goes. But 50 times? That's what a convincing art forger did for nearly three decades when he donated his copies of Picassos and other works of art to unsuspecting museums in 20 states.
Mark A. Landis, who has dressed as a Jesuit priest or posed as a wealthy donor driving up in a red Cadillac, apparently never took money for his forgeries and has never been arrested.
Now his "works" have been collected into their own tongue-in-cheek exhibit, called Faux Real and opening on April Fools' Day at the University of Cincinnati.
Educating people about forgery and letting people know about Landis "is the only way to stop him," said Mark Tullos, director of the Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum in Lafayette, La., which was duped in 2010 with a donation of a painting supposedly by American Charles Courtney Curran.
Landis creates works in oil, watercolor, pastels, chalk, ink and pencil, making most of his copies from museum or auction catalogs that provide dimensions and information on the originals.
He sometimes bestows gifts under different names, such as the Father Arthur Scott alias used at Hilliard. In that case, he told officials that his dead mother had left works including Curran's oil-on-wood painting "Three Women" and that he was donating it in her memory.
Tullos said museum employees became suspicious when Landis kept changing the subject under questioning. After he drove off, the museum quickly concluded it was a forgery.
To convince museums he is a philanthropist, he also concocts elaborate stories about health concerns, said Cincinnati exhibit co-curator Matthew Leininger.www.buy-retrojordans.com
"He has been having heart surgery for almost 30 years," Leininger said with a frustrated laugh. "This is the strangest case the museum realm has known in years."
Landis, 57, acknowledges what he's up to. He told The Associated Press in a phone interview from his home in Laurel, Miss., that he made his first forgery donation to a California museum in 1985.
"They were so nice. I just got used to that, and one thing led to another," he said. "It never occurred to me that anyone would think it was wrong."cheap jordan shoes
The Cincinnati exhibit of about 40 works given to 15 museums grew to around 100 when Landis donated 60 pieces he possesses, along with his priest's outfit.
The Faux Real show will run through May 20 at the Dorothy W. and C. Lawson Reed Jr. Gallery. It depicts famous art forgers, details of how Landis made some donations and ways of detecting fakes. Visitors can view some works under ultraviolet light that causes sections to glow if they contain contemporary ingredients.
Art experts say not accepting payment for his forgeries has helped keep Landis from being charged with a crime. Museum officials say forgeries can hurt their reputation and cost time and money researching suspected fraud.Buy Cheap Jordan Shoes
Landis typically targets smaller museums without resources to thoroughly check donations. While museums don't pay Landis, some treat him to meals, receptions and gifts like catalogs and souvenirs before realizing they were duped, Leininger said.New Jordan Shoes 2012 For Sale
The exhibit doesn't judge Landis but is using his story to show how forgeries occur and demonstrate that institutions and the public "shouldn't take things at face value," exhibit co-curator Aaron Cowan.
The exhibit won't increase the value of Landis' works — considered worthless except as educational tools on forgery — and the curators have heard no objections to spotlighting his works.buy jordan shoes
Landis won't profit from the show but says it is "nice of them to do this." And though Leininger says he doesn't think Landis can stop, the forger acknowledges that it's harder to fool people now "than the '80s and '90s, when you could just walk in and donate."
"Now they want all types of documentation."

Residents: South Libya tribal fighting continues
cheap jordansTRIPOLI, Libya (AP) — A senior Libyan government official said Friday that warring tribes in the south have brokered a cease-fire after five days of deadly clashes, but residents said the fighting continues and is inching toward another city.
The conflicting reports from the oasis of Sabha some 640 kilometers (400 miles) south of Tripoli show the isolation of Libya's desert communities, where tribes with a history of rivalry often live side by side.
The fighting in Sabha resembles an earlier outbreak of inter-tribal violence in February in the oasis of Kufra, over 900 kilometers (nearly 600 miles) to the east. In both places, the clashes pitted Arab tribes that reportedly had close connections to ousted dictator Moammar Gadhafi against the African Tabu tribe, close to the rebels that overthrew him. In both places, authorities struggled to move troops across the hundreds of kilometers of desert highway to keep the peace.
As of Thursday, five days of fighting in Sabha left more than 50 dead, according to the United Nation Support Mission in Libya, as the tribes exchanged fire with automatic rifles, mortars, and rockets.
Deputy chairman of the governing National Transitional Council Abdel-Majid Seif al-Nasr, a Sabha native, said that a cease-fire was signed Thursday and that the city was now quiet, with hundreds of ex-rebel militia from other cities pouring into the oasis to quell the violence.
Col. Wanees Abu Khamada, the head of a militia force from the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi, said his team is meeting with tribal leaders from Sabha. He said the city is quieter than before, but that there was fighting on the outskirts.www.buy-jordansretro.com
But Mohammed Lino, a spokesman for fighters of the Tabu, said his tribe was under pressure from attacks and retreating south to its stronghold in the city of Morziq.cheap air jordans
"We have agreed on a cease-fire, but they keep breaking the deal," he said, accusing the more powerful tribes in Sabha of attacking Tabu neighborhoods and burning down their homes.
"The government is in Sabha, but they haven't done anything to stop them," Lino said.
Sabha native and senior Health Ministry official Abdul-Rahman al-Hasnawy said four people were killed and more than 40 wounded since the cease-fire was signed Thursday.cheap jordan shoes
The fighting has undermined the new Libyan government's already fragile authority. On Wednesday, the Tabu leaders threatened to declare a separate state in Libya's south to protect their people, the second such move toward secession this month after leaders in the east declared a semiautonomous state.

Tiger Woods a winner on tour again after 30 months
Nike Jordans For Cheap And Free Shipping!ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — His ball safely over the water, Tiger Woods walked toward the 18th green Sunday as he had done over the last 30 months on the PGA Tour, with one big difference.
There was no mistaking that smile.
    "Pure joy," he said.
Woods finally brought the buzz back to the very thing that made him famous — winning.
Two weeks after another injury scare, Woods looked dominant as ever in that bright red shirt to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. It was his first PGA Tour victory since a sex scandal at the end of 2009 led to one of the greatest downfalls in sports.
And with the Masters only two weeks away, Woods looks more capable than ever of resuming his pursuit of Jack Nicklaus in the majors.Cheap Air Jordans
Woods closed with a 2-under 70 and won by five shots over Graeme McDowell.
"I think he really just kind of nailed home his comeback," McDowell said. "Great to have a front-row seat watching maybe the greatest of all time doing what he does best — winning golf tournaments."
Woods had gone 923 days and 27 tour events since he last posed with a trophy, and it showed.
Kneeling to look at his line as he waited his turn to putt on the 18th, Woods tapped his putter on the ground and could barely contain a grin, knowing that the longest PGA Tour drought of his career was about to end. When he tapped in for par, he clenched his fist, screamed out, "Yeah!" and hugged his caddie, Joe LaCava.
Walking off the green, Woods extended his black cap for a sweeping wave toward the gallery.
"It's not like winning a major championship or anything," Woods said. "But it certainly feels really good."
The question two weeks ago was when he could play again. Now, it's whether he can get back to being the player who once ruled golf. It was the 16th time in his career that Woods has won by at least five shots, and it was the largest margin of victory on the PGA Tour since Rory McIlroy won the U.S. Open by eight.
Woods downplayed the significance of Sunday, pointing out on more than one occasion that he considers it his second win since the scandal. He counts the Chevron World Challenge last December, when he went birdie-birdie to beat an 18-man field of top-50 players.
But this was significant — a PGA Tour event with a full field, and a strong field at that. And with a performance so clean that he was never seriously challenged on the back nine.
"I've gotten better, and that's the main thing," Woods said. "I've been close for a number of tournaments now. And it was just a matter of staying the course and staying patient, keeping working on fine-tuning what we're doing. And here we are."Cheap Jordans For Sale
The only thing missing was the host himself.
Palmer's blood pressure increased during the final round from new medications, and he was taken to the hospital about 15 minutes before the tournament ended as a precaution. Alaistair Johnston, vice chairman at IMG and his longtime business manager, said Palmer would be kept overnight. "Nobody is overly concerned," he said.
Woods goes to No. 6 in the world, returning to the top 10 for the first time since May 22.
"Heading home now and I can't stop smiling. Thanks to Otown fans and everyone watching for all the love. Get well soon, Arnie," Woods tweeted about three hours after his win.
He finished at 13-under 275 for his 72nd PGA Tour win, one short of Nicklaus for second place on the career list. But that's not the record Woods wants. He has 14 majors, four short of the Nicklaus standard, and he tries to end a four-year drought at the Masters, which starts April 5.
"I am excited, no doubt," Woods said. "I'm looking forward to the momentum I've built here."
It was the first time Woods had all four rounds under par since he returned from his personal crisis at the 2010 Masters.
McDowell made a 45-foot birdie putt and a 50-foot eagle putt early in the round to try to stay close, though he was never closer than two shots after starting with a double bogey. He closed with a 74.
Ernie Els failed in his bid to get into the Masters. The three-time major champion started the final round three shots behind, but twice missed par putts inside 3 feet and shot 75. He would have needed a two-way tie for second to crack the top 50 in the world. Instead, he tied for fourth and moved up only four spots to No. 58. He will have to win the Houston Open next week to avoid missing the Masters for the first time since 1993.
This day belonged to Woods, as it used to at Arnie's place.
Only two weeks ago, Woods was taken off the course at Doral in the middle of the final round with tightness in his left Achilles tendon, the same injury that caused him to miss three months last year, including two majors. It turned out to be a mild strain, and Sunday was the eighth straight day that Woods played golf — starting with a practice round last Sunday at Augusta.
LaCava called him that Sunday night at Doral, after Woods had spoken to doctors, and said "you could hear the relief."
His injuries have received more attention in the last year than the personal life crisis that cost him his marriage and corporate support. But in the last week, former coach Hank Haney's book — "The Big Miss" — was mailed out to various media outlets, another distraction for Woods. The book goes on sale Tuesday.
While it deals mainly with Haney's six years teaching Woods, it raises questions about Woods' fascination with the Navy SEALs and whether that contributed to his injuries. It also portrays Woods as self-centered and rarely satisfied, a side of him that Woods has sought to keep private for so many years.
The win at Bay Hill, his record seventh in the event, puts the chatter back on golf.
"He was a man on a mission today," LaCava said. "He was pretty jacked up. He was out there to prove himself."
Woods won against a full field for the first time since the Australian Masters on Nov. 15, 2009. Twelve days later, Woods ran his car into a fire hydrant, and revelations poured on about his extramarital affairs. He has not been the same since then, and players began to wonder if his mystique could ever return.
This was a step. A big step.
Woods renewed his reputation as golf's greatest closer, winning for the 38th time in 40 attempts when he had the lead going into the final round.
It was McDowell who took down Woods in a shocker at the end of 2010 by rallying from four shots down to beat him at the Chevron World Challenge, something long considered unthinkable. And it was McDowell, speaking for so many others on tour, who suggested last August that the red shirt on Sunday was not as intimidating as once was.
McDowell was as formidable as ever. He couldn't keep up.
The former U.S. Open champion gave Woods a big cushion on the opening hole when his approach buried so badly in the bunker that only the top half of the ball could be seen. He blasted out through the green into another bunker and made double bogey. That gave Woods a three-shot lead, and McDowell never got closer than two the rest of the way.
But he put up a good fight. McDowell took a free drop from a sprinkler head, going from the rough to the fringe, and holed a 45-foot birdie putt after Woods was already in tight for birdie.
Woods hit a towering 3-iron from 267 yards over the water on the par-5 sixth, and before he could attempt his eagle putt from just outside 15 feet, McDowell made his from 50 feet.
Woods was in total control of all aspects of his game, the final two holes of the front nine showed it. Woods hit an 8-iron from 182 yards that cleared the bank by a few yards and rolled within 4 feet for birdie on No. 8. And on the next hole, McDowell missed a 4-foot par putt to fall four shots behind.
McDowell missed three putts inside 10 feet early on the back nine — one of them for par — and then was merely along for the ride.
"He's going to be a force at Augusta," said Ian Poulter, who shot 74 and finished third.

Column: You didn't expect this from Tiger?
Air Jordan ShoesA celebratory high-five with his caddie before he ever got to the green. More happiness than most galleries have witnessed since a sex scandal ripped apart his life and helped take down his game.
The only thing missing on the best day Tiger Woods has had in the last 30 months was a huge sigh of relief.
He knew this day was coming even when his drives were going sideways and his putts weren't even scaring the hole. Knew it even when fans around the world were deserting him, sickened by tales of his philandering.
We should have known it, too. This is, after all, Tiger Woods, and nothing he does should ever surprise us.
He is the greatest player of his era. He may still become the greatest player ever.
He won Sunday at Arnold Palmer's tournament at Bay Hill, hoisting a trophy on the PGA Tour for the first time in 923 days. In true Woods style, he did it in his last outing before the Masters, setting the stage for what could be an epic chase for the green jacket at Augusta National.
Take away the circumstances and there wasn't anything especially dramatic about it. Just the kind of grind it out, beat them down, style of golf he once took for granted.
The kind of golf only Woods could play.
The kind of golf we wondered if he would play again.
He conquered personal demons and he conquered swing demons. He did it in the face of intense scrutiny, insisting all along that it was part of the process and that he would eventually prevail.
When it was over, he had a five-shot win and his 72nd tour victory. No one challenged him because, well, he played so well no one had a chance.
The swing was different, but there was no dispute: This was the Tiger Woods of old.
"He was a man on a mission today," caddie Joe LaCava said. "He was pretty jacked up. He was out there to prove himself."
What that means for the future, Woods wasn't about to say. He barely acknowledged the significance of it all, claiming that his victory in his own tournament in December with a small, hand-picked field was his first real comeback win.
People around golf know better. This was a statement made on the golf course, a statement that will reverberate on the driving ranges and through the locker rooms. And if Woods wouldn't go there, his playing partner was more than willing to oblige.
"I think he really just kind of nailed home his comeback," Graeme McDowell said. "Great to have a front-row seat watching maybe the greatest of all time doing what he does best, winning golf tournaments."
What had to be almost as gratifying for Woods was having his fans back, too. They stood and cheered as they did during the frenzy of his prime, before he was caught in the scandal that cost him his marriage and a few years of his career. They may not have forgotten, but they seem to have forgiven.
In the NBC broadcast booth, Johnny Miller got a little swept up in the moment himself, saying Woods could win another 35 to 40 tournaments before his career is over.www.jordanshoes-us.com
That may still happen, though injuries and age could derail Woods at any time. He withdrew from his last tournament with an Achilles tendon strain and, with four surgeries on his left knee over the years, he seems an old 36.
But it's the pursuit of majors that matters most to Woods, and that's another reason why this win was so big. There are four of them now squarely in his wheelhouse this year, and winning one or two would go a long way in getting him off the 14-win mark and pointed toward his childhood goal of beating the record of 18 set by Jack Nicklaus.
The first one of those is the week after next in Augusta, a place where Woods scored his breakthrough win in 1997 and a place he probably knows better than anyone. He scared the leaders with a final-round surge there last year even when he wasn't hitting the ball particularly well, and he will surely go in as a favorite for his fifth green jacket.
The old saying is that the Masters begins on the back nine on Sunday, but this year it may have begun two Sundays early.Jordan Shoes
"I understand how to play Augusta National, and it's just a matter of executing the game plan," Woods said.
On this Sunday in Florida, his win looked so familiar it was almost as if the 30 months between victories never happened. The golf universe was suddenly at peace again, back in safe hands.
Tiger Woods was celebrating at long last. Maybe we should, too.
